XU-3000 Electric UTV
The Electric XU-3000 is the first ever Electric Powered UTV. An electric utility vehicle has many uses. Ours just came on the market in America in August, 2008. The XU-3000 is powered by six oversized Silicone Gel Cell 150 Amp, 8 Volt Batteries. It has a top speed of 20 mph and can travel 35 miles on one Full Charge. It has the power to climb a 20% grade without a big drain on the Batteries. The XU-3000 comes with a VIN and MCO Certificate that you can take to your local DMV to get a Title(pink Slip), and off road sticker or in some states a road license plate and registration. The utility vehcle is meant for off road use but in some states it is allowed on the road. Many states will allow a UTV to be registered as a motorcycle, which would then allow it to be driven on city streets. It is likely that you will need a driver's license or a motorcycle license to drive an UTV. You can check with your local DMV to learn the local laws where you will be riding. So far, we are sorry to say it only comes in the color green. The XU-3000 features programmable controller made by Alltrax(in the USA), that can ba adjusted to your preferences by using your laptop computer. The XU-3000 has a hydraulic lift on the bed so you can use it for dumping. A Towing Hook is mounted on the front. Also a cage protects the front of the vehicle.
